The new tax law enacted by parliament effective September 1st 2015, Income Tax Act, 2015 (Act 896) (Amendments) brings to fore new changes and consolidation of several tax laws into one basic document. The Act covers the taxation of operations in key industries such as financial services, minerals, mining and petroleum. A number of significant changes have been introduced under the new income tax act targeted at curbing tax base erosion and reviewing the country’s tax concession regime. These changes will impact a wide range of business sectors and will also affect individual taxpayers.
This training seeks to educate, equip and expose the various nuances of the Income Tax Act, 2015 and general application of the various tax implications ranging from corporation tax, capital allowances, VAT, WHT, PAYE, NHIL, GetFund,Corporation tax, etc.
It will also include preparing business tax returns and other forms of taxes. This course is designed as an intermediate course in tax administration and in the preparation of tax returns for various forms of business entities.
